Seriously, racing through the whole level as fast as you can, trying to find hidden and hard to reach objects? What were they thinking? I'm so glad the rest of the lego games when they did have a time limit have things much better. Urgh, don't remind me of the time trials, I was never able to do all of them.

Get this number of studs (in either free play or story mode, which I won't remember through several of the levels), and you earn True Jedi status, which gives you a Gold Brick. Collecting all 10 rewards a bunch of studs as well as a Gold Brick.Įach level also has a par number of studs to collect. In this game, they actually serve a purpose other than looking nice (not so in later games), but we'll get to that later. These sets are generally something related to the level. A single Red Brick is hidden somewhere in each level.ġ0 Minikits - Minikits are used to build mini LEGO sets. They're not in the level, rather they're awarded for completing three different goals: finishing the level in Story, earning True Jedi, and collecting all the minikits.ġ Power Brick - Power Bricks (as this game calls them) unlock cheats. In Free Play, on the other hand, you're not limited to story characters, and can access side areas to gather the collectibles you can't gather otherwise.Įach level contains the following collectables:ģ Golden Bricks - these unlock various bonus levels in this game. Certain parts of the level will be inaccessible during Story mode as you won't have access to the abilities needed to get them. Characters have certain "classes" which define the abilities they can use, and these abilities are required to collect certain collectables. Neither of these versions is available on Steam. A follow-up was released called LEGO Star Wars II: the Original Trilogy that covered - well, the original trilogy ( Star Wars IV, V, and VI). It was originally a video game for the prequel trilogy called just LEGO Star Wars: the Video Game.
